Bill Kelty joins St. John’s Episcopal, solidifying the New York-based organization’s IT Leadership as Chief Information Officer.
Looking for a strong executive to take its IT department to greater heights, St. John’s Episcopal Hospital has selected B.E. Smith candidate Bill Kelty to become Chief Information Officer, effective June 3.
Bill presented as a roll-up-the-sleeves type of leader, skilled in managing vendor relationships and leading contract negotiations. As a proven team builder who unites clinical, IT, physician, and ancillary staff members behind shared goals, Bill is excited to work with his new team.
“I was attracted to St. John’s because of the strength of the hospital leadership team and their commitment to the community,” he said.
Bill will be leading strategic IT operations for St. John’s, streamlining current processes and heading recruitment efforts in finding IT talent to add to the organization. He brings 20 years of healthcare IT leadership experience, a military background, and a dedication to serving communities in need.
