Seasoned Information Technology Executive Selected to Support Renown Statewide Network
Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems (EMHS) is utilizing B.E. Smith’s Interim Leadership Services to temporarily fill the critical role of Chief Information Officer. Helen Thompson has been selected by EMHS to serve as Interim CIO. Ms. Thompson possesses extensive experience leading healthcare information and clinical technology transformations to enable improved quality, safety, and service to patients. She will oversee several immediate system-wide initiatives, including the implementation of Cerner systems throughout all related hospitals and clinics.
