Methodist Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital has joined with B.E. Smith in their search for an Associate Chief Nursing Officer. The ACNO will oversee all nursing inpatient services, including 11 clinical directors. This leader will work to gain and maintain Magnet designation, head productivity enhancements, and decrease variation in practice. He or she should place an emphasis on recruitment and retention.

The ideal ACNO will possess prior academic medical center experience, a background working in large departments, and prior Magnet Journey experience. The candidate must have either an MSN or a BSN with another master’s degree. A master’s degree is required.
