The Director of the Operating Room will head daily operations for the department and manage workflow for a total of 10 ORs. This leader will have the responsibility of leading several process improvements, such as decreasing turnaround times, building a bridge between Central Sterile Processing and the OR, and assessing and evaluating competencies while relying on evidence-based practice for delivering quality patient care. The Director will facilitate a culture shift with OR staff connecting with other departments.

The ideal candidate will possess at least five years of experience in a leadership role. A Bachelor of Nursing and an active New York RN license required; master’s degree and AORN preferred.
